Valentine's Day is right around the corner... which of course means let the planning begin! Whether you're in a relationship or a single lady, I know most of us try and figure out the perfect thing to do that night. Whether your plans include a date night with your man, night out on the town with some girlfriends, or maybe even a Valentine's Day party, this is one of those occasions where dressing up and finding the perfect outfit is key. For me, I think Valentine's Day is the perfect time to go all out feminine, flirty, and sexy. It's also one of those times where dressing a little in the theme isn't too cheesy and lame (still done the right way of course!). This means pinks and reds, florals and hearts, sweet, girly, and feminine silhouettes. For you guys I'm sharing two different types of looks that I love for Valentine's Night.
First is Genie's look which is a more sophisticated and chic, feminine feel. She's wearing a white leather skirt with a crochet lace trim along the hem. I found this amazing piece at a boutique in North Dakota of all places! To me this piece is the perfect combination of feminine and cool, while its knee length and white color make it completely chic. I paired this with a soft pink/purple/grey knit sweater top from American Eagle. I love this pairing of the sweater because it creates a soft and cozy feel that makes this look not too uptight. I love this sweater because its mixture of colors makes the possibilities of matching vast. It pairs well with any of the three colors and whichever way you accessorize it brings out the color you want. Accessorizing this outfit was simple, a bold statement necklace with pops of purple goes perfect with the sweater and helps to dress this look up. Studded Valentino pointy toe pumps finish this look off with the perfect edge of sophistication and fun.

My look is a little different than Genie's... It's a little more playful and girly, another route to go on Valentine's Day. I started with this red rose print dress; from Forever 21. The print is perfect for this lovey dovey holiday and the strapless fit and flare shape with ruffle trim along the hem is flirty and fun. This dress speaks pretty loudly for itself, so again accessories are kept simple: strappy Jeffrey Campbell sandals in white/silver, a crystal statement necklace from Banana Republic, and a vintage hot pink clutch. A floral flirty dress is a perfect look for whatever your plans this Valentine's Day are.
